Offtrack was co-founded by Dean Chew, also known as Funk Bast*rd, who also co-founded Darker Than Wax (DTW), a record label known for promoting underground sounds from Southeast Asia and beyond. Over the years, Dean has built a reputation as a skilled DJ and a passionate advocate for alternative music.
Dean has played on major platforms like Singapore’s Boiler Room, We Out Here Festival in the UK, and Dimensions Festival. He was also the first Singaporean DJ to perform on HÖR, a prominent Berlin-based music platform. His sets are known for their seamless blending of genres and his deep knowledge of music.
Through Offtrack, Dean continues his mission to create spaces where good music is appreciated. The bar reflects his belief that music should be enjoyed in a relaxed setting, without the distractions of a typical club.
