Join On the Jungle Floor & Pink Section at Indiranagar Social on Saturday, March 22nd, from 8 PM onwards for a night of deep cuts and genre-defying grooves with Dean Chew (aka Funk Bast*rd), co-founder of Singapore’s pioneering label Darker Than Wax and music-centric bar Offtrack.
With over 15 years behind the decks, Dean has built a reputation for pushing left field sounds and alternative club music, earning praise from Gilles Peterson, Bradley Zero, and Dam-Funk. He has shared stages with Four Tet, Jamie xx, and Dam-Funk, with standout sets at Boiler Room, HÖR, and We Out Here festival. His selections seamlessly blend deep jazz, soulful rarities, and forward-thinking club sounds.
Supporting him is Nich (Pink Section & Focus Group Radio). Adopting a curious and playful approach to selection, Nich’s sets are known for juxtaposing old records with contemporary sounds, teasing the floor with hints of unpredictability. He’s built a reputation for weaving together deep cuts across genres— Afrobeat, dub, funk, soul, and música popular brasileira. His selections reflect a deep-digging ethos, always seeking the offbeat and the unorthodox while keeping the energy alive.

Cancellation and Changes:
• The organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event in case of unforeseen circumstances.
• In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to ticket holders.
