JACO PASTORIUS - WORD OF MOUTH

Word of Mouth was the name of the band assembled by Jaco Pastorius featuring Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Peter Erskine, Jack DeJohnette, Michael Brecker, Don Alias, and Toots Thielemans. They toured from 1981 to 1983.  Later released as the second album by Pastorius in 1981, it focusses on his ability to keep a big band together particularly on "Chromatic Fantasy" and "Crisis."
