Views is the fourth studio album by Drake, released on April 29, 2016. Recording sessions took place from 2015 to 2016, with both Drake and his longtime collaborator and record producer 40 serving as the record's executive producers. 40 also worked with fellow producers Nineteen85, Maneesh Bidaye, Kanye West, and Jordan Ullman, to bring the project to fruition. \n \nKey influences for the record came from West India and West Africa. The project also holds witness to Drake's first full foray into Jamaican dancehall music, while featuring other genres such as R&B, trap, Afrobeat, UK funky, and pop. \n \n
