Ol' Dirty Bastard, born Russell Jones, was a true original.  His lyrics were often nonsensical, filled with pop culture references and obscure slang.  His flow was unpredictable,  switching from rapid-fire delivery to laid-back drawls.  But beneath the chaos, there was undeniable talent.
