We’re back at Max Mueller Bhavan for the next edition of OTJF Listening Sessions—this time diving into Demon Days, the iconic second album by Gorillaz.
Blurring the lines between animated fantasy and real-world chaos, Demon Days is a genre-bending masterpiece that fuses alt-rock, hip-hop, electronica, and trip-hop into something deeply cinematic. Produced by Danger Mouse and voiced by Damon Albarn, the album channels a post-millennial unease while delivering unforgettable features from De La Soul, MF DOOM, Neneh Cherry, and Shaun Ryder.
This session is an invitation to listen deeply—from the standout tracks to the concept behind it all—and explore how a virtual band reframed what pop music could be in the 2000s.

• In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to ticket holders.
