AC/DC commissioned a custom bell for the opening section of "Hells Bells" but due to weight issues, they used Denison Bell in Leicestershire, England. But recording was disrupted by nesting birds, necessitating studio manipulation. The bell cost £6000 and appeared on tour with the band.
