Excited to put our playlist out in time for Friday night. This week's curation features a boatload of new releases across August and September (some tunes as fresh as a few hours ago). Pip Millett wastes no time getting back into the studio with her new track 'Stupid People.' Elsewhere in the UK, Bluenote/Decca have been busy reimagining songs from their catalog with Musicians from UKs vibrant Jazz scene. On the playlist, we feature Poppy Ajudha's stellar reimagination of Herbies 'Watermelon man' and Jordan Rakei's rework of Donald Byrd's 'Wind Parade.'

A silver lining to an otherwise subdued year devoid of touring is the amount of time our favorite artists are spending in their studios. This week alone, there's been new music from Omar Apollo, Iamddb, MFDoom, Aaron Taylor, Fana Hues, Orion Sun, and others.

It's been a busy few days for Kaytranada with collaborations across multiple projects. Our pick, however, is 'Teen Scene' by Maeta featuring Buddy.
