Released on 6 March 2026 via War Child Records, HELP(2) is a major new charity compilation created to raise funds for War Child and support children living through conflict. Inspired by the landmark 1995 HELP album, the project brings together a remarkable cross-generational cast of artists for one of the year’s most meaningful and talked-about releases.

Recorded predominantly across one week in November 2025 at Abbey Road Studios and produced by James Ford, HELP(2) was built in the same urgent, collaborative spirit as the original. The album was created through a close collaboration with Abbey Road, with impromptu sessions and one-take moments shaping a record that feels immediate, intimate, and genuinely one of a kind.

A Truly Exceptional Line-Up

The 2LP features an extraordinary line-up, including Arctic Monkeys, Olivia Rodrigo, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Pulp, Beabadoobee, Black Country, New Road, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Fontaines D.C., Foals, Sampha, Wet Leg, Ezra Collective, King Krule, The Last Dinner Party, Young Fathers, Arooj Aftab, Beck, Arlo Parks, Anna Calvi, and many more. Across its 23-track running order, the album balances exclusive performances, one-off pairings, and standout covers, making it far more than just another all-star compilation.

Among the key moments, Arctic Monkeys open the album with Opening Night, while Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten & Kae Tempest deliver Flags, The Last Dinner Party contribute Let’s Do It Again!, Pulp return with Begging for Change, and Olivia Rodrigo closes the record with The Book of Love. In the run-up to release, five singles were shared — Opening Night, Flags, Let’s Do It Again!, Begging for Change, and Helicopters — helping establish HELP(2) as one of 2026’s standout releases before it even landed.

Beyond The Album

The original 1995 Help album featured Noel Gallagher, Paul McCartney and Paul Weller playing a cover of The Beatles' Come Together, under the name Mojo Filters

The project also extends beyond the music. Jonathan Glazer served as Creative Director and oversaw a companion film developed with Academy Films, incorporating footage captured by children in the studio alongside material gathered from Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen, and Sudan. Built around the concept “By Children, For Children,” the visual side of HELP(2) directly connects the album to the communities it was created to support.

The original HELP album, led by Brian Eno in 1995, was famously recorded in a single day and raised more than £1.2 million for children affected by the Bosnian conflict. HELP(2) honours that legacy while responding to today’s humanitarian realities, with proceeds supporting War Child’s work delivering immediate aid, education, specialist mental health support, and protection for children affected by war.

More than just a star-studded compilation, HELP(2) stands as one of the most culturally significant various-artists releases of the year — a rare modern charity record with genuine collector appeal, real emotional weight, and a cause that matters.
