On the evening of October 10th 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting a Listening Session at the Smoke House Deli in Bangalore. This event was nothing short of a sonic journey, allowing music enthusiasts to immerse themselves fully in the art of sound and storytelling.

To pay homage to Radiohead's musical evolution, we selected the album "In Rainbows," a masterpiece that is a true meditation of love, life and death.

At the heart of our Listening Session was the music. For three hours, we let each track weave its sonic magic, starting from '15 Steps' to their classic hit 'Videotape'. This album is a testament to Radiohead's innovation - particularly their haunting melodies, evocative lyrics, and innovative soundscapes. 

But it wasn't just about passive listening. Throughout the session, we encouraged our guests to engage deeply with the album's themes and narratives. Intermissions between each side provided the perfect opportunity for conversations to flow and new connections to be made. 

To further enhance the experience, the venue offered a unique beverage selection and the attendees could savour the flavours of The Drawing Room as the listening session continued.

The response to our In Rainbows Listening Session was overwhelming. The combination of exceptional sound quality, a thought-provoking album, and the opportunity to connect with fellow music lovers created an atmosphere that was unbeatable. With every single person tuned into the music and our words, we recognised the extent to which our passion was reciprocated. From personal stories revolving around Radiohead, to recollections of first experiences with vinyl, active listening sessions are a direct doorway to important conversations and this only feels like the beginning!
